Divorce SUCKS!

I don't know why I'm writing this but hell, it is MY blog!

I despise being divorced! I've said it before and I'll say it again; marriage is one of the hardest things in the world to maintain. There's constant compromising, arguments, drama, lack of sex...but damnit, marriage is wonderful!

Now I come home from work and try to figure out how to kill several hours before it's time to go to bed. Yes I have my 300 DVD’s to keep me busy; yes I have a bookshelf loaded with great books that I could read. But it’s no substitute for a good movie on the couch with the wifey. I know what you're all thinking, "stop whining and go join a bowling league or something! You've been divorced for 3 years, why are you complaining about it now?!" Well to hell with all of you! No bowling league can make up for not having a soft, sexy, funny woman naked in my bed at night. Anyone who's been married for more than 2 years knows that most couples slow down on the sex. D.L. Hugley said on The Original Kings of Comedy, "…before you get married, you get all the sex you want. But as soon as you get married, you get put on some kinda damn ration!" I don't give a damn! I'd rather have the POTENTIAL for sex than nothing at all! And for my female readers, yes I'm focusing on sex...I'm a man!

Seriously, it's not just the sex...when you find someone with whom you're compatible, the time spent together can be therapeutic. I miss the laughter and the fun and yes, damnit, I miss the sex! I am not a bad looking man and I get sex, but sex with a stranger is empty and non-satisfying…I’m not the kinda man who finds it thrilling to go on the prowl looking for fresh, new meat every weekend…

Oh well, I AM whining…let me let it go…
