I really DESPISE the IRS! I’m fully aware that no one LIKES the IRS but I DESPISE them! I have been divorced for three years now and ever since I moved out of my house, I’ve had the IRS up my ass. Why is it that you can’t claim child support???? You can claim alimony but not child support. Well I don't pay alimony! This is personal information but I’m paying nearly $1200/month in child support and you mean to tell me that I have to pay taxes on that money????!!!! My ex-wife gets it taken out of my check before I even get paid so tell me why do I have to pay taxes on it? Shouldn't it be like an IRA or some other pre-tax reduction? Why am I responsible to pay taxes on money that I don’t even get? Don't get me wrong, I have NO PROBLEM providing for my children but why does the IRS impose taxes on me for money that I don't even see?! When I called them to try and work something out (‘cause I owe A LOT of money to them), they said, “your child support is YOUR responsibility! Whatever the court tells you to pay is YOUR problem. What you owe the IRS is OUR issue!” I wanted to jump through the phone and do something ignorant.
Why do we even have to pay taxes anyway? I’m under the impression that taxation was only supposed to be a temporary thing, imposed by the Federal Government ONLY in times of war. What is this perpetual taxation at EVERY level of government?! I think it’s criminal…but who can fight the government, right? I don’t want to move to any other country. So what do I do? Pay my damn taxes, then bitch about it here, on my rantings blog…

I couldn't help but do a search on f**king IRS. I worked at a company with Earl. Prior to meeting Earl at said company I worked there for about 7 or so years. We had a sales guy get caught for not paying enough on his city taxes. It was the old "I live in a 2% city and work in a 1% city and my employer did withhold the rest". The city said "Uh yeah, my ass, you owe and here is the interested added in to make you feel better!" So the great sales man said "oh wait, will you cut me a break if I tell you a shit load of other people are in the same boat?" And the City said suuuuuurrre! So I got a bill for $1500 in owed taxes and interest... real nice Clark real nice!
